Have you, a partner, child or family member been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD?
The challenges (and benefits) that come with having a mind that is wired differently can be poorly understood by many people, even professionals.
What’s more, limits to availability of specific help on the NHS can mean that when you are suffering with anxiety or other wellbeing issues, it means working with someone who doesn’t entirely understand neurodiversity, taking medications, or just trying to cope as best you can.
As well as being a very experienced clinical hypnotherapist, specialising in anxiety for the last 10 years, I was recently diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive type) at age 43.
This means that although we are each individuals and our experience of ADHD will also be individual, it gives me a unique understanding of the specific difficulties and challenges that ADHD can bring. The techniques I use to help are all compatible with ADHD and we can adapt the approach to best suit your needs.
